#4.> Yearly Basic Maintenance of the web site is a must for most companies.  You want to run your business.  Let us manage things behind the scene as part of your marketing strategy.  This means security updates and patches to your website, doing annual backups of your content and database to an off-site harddrive, updating up to 2 pluggins that have been added.  We will check your site to be sure it is running smoothly from time to time and fix it and restore anything that has gone wrong.  Call us if you suspect a problem.

#5.> Yearly Content Maintenance is available.  You and your staff do not need to take time away from your business to learn how to update your content on your website.  We are happy to assist with this task.  This Content Maintenance package includes:

• Taking your written content and images you provide and importing them into the website in the format in which you provide it.
• Making minor adjustments to your content format so that it fits into the website (including resizing of images).
• Coding any links you want displayed in your content.
• Adding new menu items to new content.
• Consultation time of up to four (4) hours per year.

#7.> Content Editing, Writing, and Provision of Images from stock - 1 year coverage to hire us to write and obtain any or all of your content, edit content you provide for layout, grammatical structure and spelling, up to 5 pages on behalf of your online project.  This includes stock images, stories, newsfeeds, data input, adding new menu items to link to your new pages.

#8.> Major Database /Template / Web Site OverHaul - As time passes, technology changes, browsers change, the internet changes, your business changes, new code begins to replace old coding techniques, programs eventually see an EOL (end of life) stage.  When this begins to happen, you really should hire us to upgrade your web site for you.  This is necessary not only for cosmetic purposes, browser access, appearance, but also for the sake of security.  For instance, this summer of 2009, Joomla1.0 has just seen an EOL stage, the current project is Joomla1.5.  This involves a total overhaul of database content coding as well as template coding.  Pluggins are being kept updated only for Joomla1.5 now.  And there are thousands of marvelous pluggins available, some of which you may not want to miss!  More are developed daily! And the appearance of these newly formatted Joomla1.5 sites is just outstanding.

But, this all takes a lot of work, time, there has been a lot of study and research involved in learning how to go about transferring your old data into the new, as well as developing the newly formatted templates, not to mention new software updates and addons expenses we have personally incurred along the way.  To upgrade a site seamlessly, we set up a test site using the new program, try out new templates on it until you are happy with the look, then begin importing the old content you want to keep into the new test site, configuring it, tweaking it.  Once all the "must have" content is set up on the test site and the appearance is to your liking, we take down the old site, install the new program in it's place, instlal all the necessary pluggins being used in the test site, install the new template, upload the images and photos, configure the basic site and pluggins, then import the test site database with the content/information we have set up in the test site.  Now the new site works and is accessible to the public. We have to do this quickly and at a time of day when you are less likely to have visitors so as not to interfere with your business.  We do not want you to miss out on visitors due to reconstruction.  Everything should be as you need it to be within an hour or two at the most.  WE PREPARE - THEN WE HUSTLE!
